April 30th Drug Take-Back Day Results in 360 Pounds of Prescription Drugs Off Our Streets
Prescription drug abuse by teenagers is increasing at alarming rates and is the second most abused type of drug after marijuana. To help stem this rising tide, the federal Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) sponsored its second national prescription drug “take back day” on April 30th.

Borough of Quakertown Installs First Permanent Prescription Drug Drop Box in Bucks County
The Borough of Quakertown became the first municipality in Bucks County to place a permanent “drop box” in their police department headquarters for citizens to safely dispose of expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs.
First Parent Chat Night a Community Success!
On March 5, 2011, the UBHCHY Coalition held its first Parent Chat at the family home of UBHCHY Chairman, Ray Fox. Fifteen Quakertown community parents attended with their middle school daughters.
Drug Take Back Planned for April 30, 2011
The next Take Back Day will be on April 30, 2011 from 10am to 2pm throughout Bucks County as a part of the National Drug Take Back Event.
At present, the local police departments are in the process of signing up to participate again.
